The Four Training Modules
The four training modules are designed to be taken in two stages:
Two Basic Modules Module 1 and 2 followed by Two Advanced Modules 3 and 4.
Module 1 (Basic Level) - Core Emotional Release An experiential retreat, in which you will explore : Regression as psychodrama; inductions; working in the “now” of the story, observing body cues and energy movements, using and working with resistance and blocks; dramatic tension; catharsis; key phrases; symbolic resonance; unfinished business at physical, emotional and mental levels.
Module 2 (Basic Level) - Working with Spirit and Transition Regression as psychodrama in the interlife or bardo phase; unfinished business with persons on earth; life review; reconciliation and forgiveness; integration of soul-fragments; mediation and use of spirit helpers and guides; animal spirits; ancestors; levels of bardo reality.
and after completing requirements (below*)
Module 3 (Advanced Level) -Body Release in Deep Memory Process Body or postural image; wounds to the etheric body; chronic holding patterns at death; letting the body tell its story; places of stored emotion in the body; strategies for release of body patterns in past lives and in the bardos.
Module 4 (Advanced Level) - Healing the Trauma of Abuse Memory and the body; recognizing clinical “shock”; Post Traumatic Shock Disorder and dissociative states; trauma release and catharsis; reactions to sexual and physical abuse, chronic pain, torture and horror; collective unconscious bleed-throughs from “past lives” and wounded “spirit” attachments; patterns of denial and chronic shut-down; healing strategies; dialoguing with the body; working with breath and the body.
*To be admitted to the Advanced Level Modules, all trainees must have completed:
a. A minimum of 8 sessions of 2-hour practice swaps of regression therapy with a fellow trainee (i.e. 8 guiding a session and 8 as the client) Any remaining swaps must be completed between Modules 3 & 4
b. Personal reviews of your training development with your trainer(s).
c. Two written case studies of regression work with clients (min of 1000 words each case)
d. A Brief Summary or Précis of Chapters 4, 5, 6, & 11 of Other Lives, other Selves
Highly recommended for Training where possible**
e. 2–4 facilitated days with a designated trainer (these are at extra cost by agreement with the facilitator)
f. 5 x 2 hour of DMP Personal therapy sessions from a recognized DMP practitioner.
** We recognize that it is not always practical, because of distance & location, to meet regularly with a DMP practitioner or trainer, but urge you to do it if you can
Further Advanced Modules
· The Shadow in DMP - Jung & Heraclitus: the principle of polar opposites in the psyche - diads of victim/persecutor; master/slave; abandoner/abandoned etc - projection of the Shadow – guilt & shame – remorse & penitence - non-dualism - dialogue & integration–collective Shadows – the problem of the demonic –black & white magicians
· Voices of the Ancestors - Recognizing attachments--types of ‘spirit’ complexes -- how they attach - contacting the family fields --- tuning into deeper ancestral memory --scanning the subtle body for signs of attachments --how to talk to and help unhappy ancestors - lost souls – sending them “to the light” - causes and cures of soul fragmentation - principles of soul retrieval
The Shadow and Voices of the Ancestors Modules are offered to Graduates in most countries.
The Portuguese Training programme includes these Advanced Modules as an integral part of the Six Module MA degree program in Transpersonal Psychotherapy.
